Hi Kelly!
Welcome to planDisney!
When using any
Lightning Lane services, you will only be able to enter each available Lightning Lane once per park day. However, while Lightning Lane Premier Pass can only be used at one theme park per day, Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be used at multiple theme parks if you have a valid
park hopper ticket.
If your budget allows, you’re more than welcome to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass in addition to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Single Pass for the same park day (pending availability). That could give you the opportunity to enter an attraction via the Lightning Lane twice on the same day (once with each service).
One major thing to keep in mind when choosing which Lightning Lane service you’d like to purchase is that Lightning Lanes are pending availability. When using Lightning Lane Multi Pass specifically, there are times when attractions run out of availability early in the park day. While you can always check back to see if any availability opens throughout the day, there’s a chance that you may not be able to experience a Lightning Lane for a specific attraction.
Because of that, I try to book my highest priority rides when choosing my three Lightning Lane pre-selections. I also try to make my first Lightning Lane as early in the day as possible. That way, I can scan into that attraction right away and book another Lightning Lane, which gives me a better chance at snagging one of the harder-to-get Lightning Lanes when using that service.
Remember, your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket if you have a date-based ticket.
I hope that helps! Feel free to
come back and visit us with any other questions you have!
