Do you know if it is possible, or if you think it would be a good idea, to have a store like Babies R Us ship diapers right to the resort to avoid shipping costs? Some of the stores have no shipping costs when you order online....

You are certainly welcome to ship supplies to yourself at your Walt Disney World resort. With the airline fees for luggage increasing, sending yourself a package is a great way to cut down on expenses. I know of many guests who have online retailers directly ship items to them at Disney World. This is great for bulky items such as diapers and wipes. I also know of guests who use Amazon.com or Drugstore.com to ship items as varied as sunscreen, snacks, and even bottles of water to them at their hotel.

To make sure everything runs smoothly with your shipment, here are some steps you should take:

    - Confirm the exact mailing address of your hotel. You can do this by calling Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY.  At the same time, you could let the reservations agent know that you will be expecting a package at your hotel, so that they can make a note of this on your file.

    - Confirm the shipment time with your online retailer. Try to time it so that your package arrives 1 to 2 days before you do.

    - Make sure your name is on the address line and that it matches the name that is on the hotel reservation. If at all possible, add the word GUEST to the address line, as well as your arrival date at the hotel.

I hope you have a wonderful visit to WDW!
