Hi! I would like to know if the Pork Belly Nigri at California Grill count as an appetizer or as an entree when using the Deluxe Dining Plan. Thank you for your help!

    Hi, Ivan!

The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan is a great choice for foodies who want to experience the best of Walt Disney World Resort dining. With this dining plan, each member of your party will be allotted three meal and two snack entitlements per night of your stay. Under the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, you will be allowed to order an appetizer with your entree and dessert when dining at table service restaurants. Your meal entitlements can be banked for future meals during your stay if you do not utilize them all each day. Please note that Signature restaurants, such as California Grill, do cost two dining entitlements per Guest.

California Grill is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is amazing and we love the views of Magic Kingdom Park from there! While I have never had the pork belly nigri, several of my friends have shared that it is one of their favorite sushi rolls. The sushi at California Grill can be ordered as an appetizer or entree on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. I would go for it as an appetizer so that I could then enjoy some of the wonderful entrees, such as the Jumbo Scallops or Bison Tenderloin!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and enjoy your dining tour of Walt Disney World Resort!
