I know in the past, pool hopping if staying on property was ok with some resorts. What is the regulation to pool hopping now?

Hi Ada, welcome home and welcome back to planDisney! With these hot Florida summers, I can understand wanting to lounge around all day by the pool at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. I love the unique theming, slides (my absolute favorite is the one at the Paddock Pool at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa), and overall fun atmosphere of the pools. Now, let’s dive into your question about pool hopping!

Currently, pool hopping is still suspended for DVC members and I haven’t seen any updates from DVC if or when this perk will return. But don’t let that rain on your parade! Since you’ll be arriving in June, you’ll be happy to know that you’ll receive free admission to the Disney water parks on your check-in day! Our family loved using this benefit last year as a way to cool down and get our feet wet before our adventures in the theme parks.

Here’s a bonus tip! Booking a split stay across multiple DVC Resorts allows you to enjoy different pools. Not only that, as my fellow panelist Jessica noted, you’ll also have a second check-in day, meaning another free admission to the Disney water parks!

Ada, I know this may not have been the answer you were looking for, but hopefully this added information will give you some insight on how to soak in all the fun during your upcoming stay. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
