Pixar Place Hotel is such a wonderful place to stay during your trip. We love the close proximity to the theme parks and the Downtown Disney District, and you really cannot beat the Pixar theming. It's so fun to explore the bright and colorful decor throughout the hotel!
During my trip last month, I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, and even though it is not guaranteed, I was able to go through the security checkpoint a few minutes before they officially opened. You will need to show your active hotel room key or hotel reservation on the
Disneyland app. Security was scheduled to open at 7:00 AM, and we aimed to get to security around 6:30 AM - 6:45 AM in case they would let Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests in a bit early. It may not happen every day, but I always like to get to security early anyway to be towards the front of the line!
It looks like you'll still be able to enjoy the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration during your trip! I highly recommend catching the
Paint the Night parade if you can. It's such an energetic and vibrant parade with all of your favorite Disney pals and a great soundtrack!
