    Hi, I’m staying at the Grand CA Hotel Disney Aug 25 -29, 2026. In trying to reserve Breakfast and Dinner at Storyteller’s Cafe, it appears that no reservations are being made available during that time. Is the Cafe closed during that time? Thx, Mike Mi

    Hey there Michael!  It looks like your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is right around the corner!

    Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is one of our favorite places to stay during our trips.  You'll feel relaxed and at home as soon as you step into the beautiful Craftsman-style lobby!  I'm sorry you're having trouble making your dining reservations, let's take a closer look at what might be giving you the issue.

    Halloween Time begins at the Disneyland Resort on August 21, 2026, and it looks like some special dining experiences will also be taking place.  Storytellers Cafe will host Mickey's Autumn Adventures for breakfast and brunch, and Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner in the evenings, which is so exciting!  It looks like our favorite Disney pals will have special fall outfits, and I'm sure there will be some delicious seasonal dishes as well.  

    For special dining events during the Halloween season, dining reservations do not always become available 60 days in advance.  My advice is to keep checking the Disneyland app or Disneyland site, I'm hoping reservations will become available to book soon!  

    This great article on the Disney Parks Blog has a wonderful overview of all of the frightfully fun activities to enjoy during a fall or Halloween trip.  I highly recommend exploring the special entertainment such as the Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular!
