Hello there, Erin! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Disneyland Resort!
To everyone’s excitement,
Disneyland Resort has reopened to the public and is once again inviting Guests back to experience a land of magic! At this time, Disneyland Resort is reopening in a phased fashion. This means that
there have been some changes that you will want to keep in mind during future visits. While visiting, you may notice such things as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Guests above the age of two years will also be required to wear a face-covering throughout their visit as well as create theme park reservations in order to enter the theme parks.
At this time, only California residents will be permitted to enter both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park according to state guidelines. Guests may be requested to provide proof of residency prior to entering. This typically is a state-issued ID card however you may also be able to provide another document that proves your California residency. An example of this may be a bill or pay stub that states your full name and current address. Additionally, you can also provide your temporary ID or driver’s license if you are currently waiting to receive your physical ID.
I would also recommend changing your address within your Disney Account. This way, you will have your current California address linked to your account instead of your previous Tennessee address!
I hope this information assists you in planning your visit to Disneyland Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions along the way!
