I know that park reservations are no longer needed for date based tickets but if I am bringing students and participating in a class and we have 3-day hopper passes do we still need to make park reservations for each day?

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for stopping by with this great question. I'm happy to help!

If your group purchased tickets on their own and selected a start date for the visit, your date-based tickets will not require theme park reservations. However, if you partnered with Disney Imagination Campus or a similar group for student tickets these will require reservations for each day you plan to visit the parks.

Since you mention "participating in a class," I believe that the latter option will be correct. I'd recommend reaching out to your Disney representative to confirm the remaining requirements before your visit in a few days. As indicated on the reservation page the following ticket types still require theme park reservations:

    • Student group tickets
    • Sport and Convention tickets
    • Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket
    • Disney Military Salute Ticket
    • Annual Pass

As an Annual Passholder, I am also required to make theme park reservations, but I've never had trouble visiting my preferred parks each day. At the time of my writing, all parks show availability through next week except May 3rd. You can review the current availability calendar when making your selections. If you have additional questions regarding your tickets I'd recommend reaching out to a Cast Member by phone. They can also guide you on linking everything to your My Disney Experience Account if you haven't already done so.

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom and features many educational opportunities throughout the park in addition to the beautiful floral displays. I loved reading up on the miniature gardens during my last visit and always enjoy chatting with the Cultural Representatives as I make my way around World Showcase. Your group is sure to enjoy learning at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as well, where there is something to discover at nearly every turn!

I hope this helped, Rebecca. If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know. Wishing your group a magical visit!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
