Hi Terri,
Welcome to planDisney!
Springtime is a wonderful time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, and you're going to LOVE the beautiful blooms, inspiring topiaries, fun entertainment options, and delicious food at the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! I hope you're having fun planning your trip, and I'd be happy to help you with your great question!
I'm so thankful for the hard-working crews who whistle while they work and keep all of our favorite attractions in fantastic and safe working order, but that does mean that from time to time attractions close for refurbishments. While any attraction is subject to unplanned temporary closures, you can always see if any of your favorites are scheduled to be closed by checking the
calendar. You'll want to make sure that you're looking at the "Day View" tab with the Refurbishments box checked, but you'll be able to see if anything is planned to be under refurbishment there. I went ahead and checked for you, and it looks like Walt Disney World Railroad and The Hall of Presidents are the only two attractions currently scheduled to be closed during your visit. It's possible that things change between now and May, so feel free to keep an eye on the calendar for any updates. Of course, under the phased reopening, there may be other experiences that will be unavailable during your visit, too, so I'd encourage you to check out the helpful
Know Before You Go pages prior to your visit. I will tell you that my family was so impressed at the way the Imagineers found new, safe ways to create magic, and we LOVED our recent Walt Disney World Resort visit even though it felt a little different than on previous trips. I'm happy to share that the magic is very much still alive and ready for YOU!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Terri, and please feel free to come see us again with any other questions you may have as you're thinking through the details of your trip. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
