Ahoy, Fran and welcome home from your magical sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line!
I know it wasn't easy to say "Sea Ya' Real Soon" when you disembarked the ship, but I'm sure the memories you created with your family will be treasured for many yEARs to come. And I hope another voyage was booked so you can look forward to more special moments with Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew in the future.
Onboard credits are wonderful to have for your cruise expenses while on the ship. You can receive these credits from Disney Cruise Line when you book a future cruise onboard or you can add them to your account before you set sail through the
Gift and Amenities section as a way to pre-pay for some of your onboard fun. Some travel agencies also offer them as booking incentives. If you cruised with a credit, your onboard account should have started with a negative balance so your onboard purchases should have been deducted from your credit first. If an amount was refundable, it should have been charged back to the original form of payment such as your credit card. Typically, credits from Disney Cruise Line or a travel agent are non-refundable. If you used
Disney Gift Cards onboard, you can have the remaining amount charged back to the original Disney Gift Card or cards used. I usually spend all my gift card amounts, but always keep the Disney Gift Cards in my stateroom safe just in case!
Fran, if you have any further questions about your stateroom folio, I encourage you to call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 with your reservation number. Even though it's a past sailing, they will still have access to a copy of your charges and credits.
Thank you for continuing to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We always love hEARing from you!
