Hi, I would like to know if there is any news on when Ohana will reopen for dinner? I’m hoping to take my daughter for her birthday. She loves the banana pudding and has been talking non stop about it. We are going in September, hope it’s open then.

Aloha, Bernice! Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Mickey is ready to welcome you and your daughter back to the magic soon!

'Ohana has a cult following amongst Disney fans, and it's easy to see why. My teenage boys look forward every trip to indulging in the All You Care to Enjoy menu served by their "cousins," because everyone is family here! I understand how disappointing it feels when our favorite Walt Disney World traditions are temporarily unavailable. I spoke with a Cast Member today who said they still do not have an exact reopening date. However, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that 'Ohana will start serving dinner again when Disney's Polynesian Village Resort begins welcoming back guests on August 12. Keep checking the Dining: Know Before You Go page and look under the Available Dining Experiences tab. Since the resort is opening in phases, you may get some pixie dust in time for your daughter's birthday celebration!

In the meantime, head over to the Disney Parks Blog for their #DisneyMagicMoments: Cooking Up the Magic series. They published the recipe for those infamous Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings recently. Although they haven't released one for that dreamy 'Ohana Bread Pudding yet, there are dozens of copy cat recipes online...just ask Mr. Google!

A hui hou kakou, or until we meet again, Bernice!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
