Bay Lake Tower at Contemporary Bay Cove Pool

    Do you know if the new bay lake tower studio rooms will have a 5th sleeper installed?

    Hi there, Natasha! 

    Here at planDisney, it's never too early to begin planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so today is a practically perfect day to stop by! 

    With incredible proximity to Magic Kingdom Park and the Walt Disney World Resort Monorail, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort's convenient location is hard to beat. My husband and I once enjoyed a stay in a deluxe studio with a theme park view, and enjoying Happily Ever After in our pajamas each evening was such a delightful way to conclude an already magical day.  Because this particular Disney Resort hotel features such incredible views, I'm so excited that the refurbishment in progress will soon have Guests of Bay Lake Tower just as happy to look inside their room as they are to look outward. 

    While I wish I were able to share villa design and layout details with you, Natasha, unfortunately, the only information that has been announced at this time is the estimated refurbishment timeline (September 2024-September 2025), and since the refurbishment has just begun, there are currently no photos available of refurbished villas. For the most up-to-date information on the refurbishment, Cast Members encourage Guests to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Resort hotel's webpage as this is where updates are typically shared first. 

    While many of the recently refurbished deluxe studios in Disney Vacation Club Resorts feature a pull-down bed that can accommodate an additional Guest, there is no guarantee that this will be the case at Bay Lake Tower, so if your party requires accommodations for five, I highly suggest reserving a stay at an alternate Disney Resorts Collection hotel such as Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
