Hi! I know military can get up to a max of 6 salute tickets at a time. my question is, if we had more than one trip in mind as a family of 6 already, can we purchase 6 say at the beginning of the year and 6 later in the year for 2 different trips? Thanks!

    Hi, Jenny!

The military special offer on theme park tickets, which was just reactivated for 2019, does have a limit of 6 theme park tickets per offer period. Even if you have two trips planned to Walt Disney World, you would still only be able to purchase 6 tickets.

I do have a suggestion for you. With the offer, you have the option to choose a four or five day park hopper pass. You can also add "plus" options to your theme park tickets. By adding the plus options, you also gain admission to Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks, as well as some golf options, including miniature golf. You get the same number of plus options as you do days on your theme park ticket, so if you choose a 5-day park hopper, you'll also get 5 plus options.

How will this help you? Well, unlike other Walt Disney World tickets that expire after a certain number of days, the Armed Forces Salute tickets are good for the entire offer period - so January through mid-December (date depending on whether you are looking at 2018 or 2019 tickets). If you buy the 5-day hopper pass, you could use a couple of theme park days and a couple of plus option on one trip, then use the rest on the next trip. It's a great way to spread out the magic!

I hope this gives you something to think about as a way to make these special promotional tickets work for your family, Jenny.
