Welcome aboard, Margaret!
My family and I have sailed in all different categories of staterooms, but of course the
Oceanview Staterooms with a Verandah are our favorite type! We love that even when the kids are wiped out and sound asleep from a long, fun day, my husband and I can sit out on the verandah to chat and catch up and enjoy a quiet hour or so before we head to bed. Plus, breakfast on the verandah with the
Complimentary Room Service available to all guests onboard is such a treat too!
I have a few suggestions for you about determining which walls the beds are on in a stateroom. First of all, if you go to the
Find A Cruise page of Disney Cruise Line's website and choose your sail date and ship, then stateroom, you can select a Midship location and below that, see a map of that deck and the staterooms available. Any of the connecting rooms are going to have a little door between them, which you can view on the map. The doors to connecting staterooms are always on the wall opposite the bed, so if you choose a connecting stateroom, that's one way to know for sure which wall the bed is on. Other than that, I would suggest calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 when you're ready to book your cruise, as they may be able to get a bit more info for you, if you can't determine that information from the deck maps on the website.
Have fun as you plan your
Disney Cruise Line adventure at sea with Captain Mickey and his crew, Margaret!
