Hello! I know some menus can be accessed on the website, but is there anywhere I can access the buffets’ allergy guide/menu In advance? I know menus can change, but wondering where would be a good option prior to leaving! Thank you!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Bethany!

I'm so excited to hear that you have a trip planned to Walt Disney World Resort in January! I can't think of a better way to kick off the new year than with some magical memories in the making. I know you're looking for some allergy guides online in advance of your trip, and I completely understand the need to make arrangements before you arrive! You're exactly right – restaurants do post their menus online, but there often aren't allergy guides available.

You'll be happy to know that most allergy-friendly requests can be accommodated by reaching out to a Cast Member once you arrive for your reservation! All you need to do is explain that your travel party has allergy-friendly requests and would like to speak with either the chef or a special diets-trained Cast Member. Additionally, allergy-friendly requests can be noted on your reservation when making any advance dining reservations. However, if anyone in your travel party has special dietary requests (such as having four or more allergy requests, requiring pureed meals, or adhering to a medically restrictive diet), my best tip would be to reach out to the Special Diets team directly by sending an email to Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and asking for a Special Dietary Request Form. This email should be sent no sooner than 14 days prior to arrival, and a Special Diets team member will be able to help you with the next steps that are available to you!

Additionally, take a little time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app before you arrive! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, access virtual queues, and mobile order meals and snacks. The mobile order feature is very handy, allowing you to select items that fall under certain allergy-friendly guidelines. This is a great way to get an idea of what meals and items you can expect at select quick-service locations. If you do decide to use this feature, it's always a good idea to speak with a Cast Member about your food allergy before picking up your meal (especially if you have multiple allergy-friendly requests in your travel party!).

I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Bethany! If you have any other questions, please write to us again. We're always happy to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Michelle
