I know there is a measurement requirement for your carry on/day bag on DCL. What are some examples of types of bags that fit into that guideline. Small backpacks? etc? I have several at home, but wanted to make sure I don't go over the measurements. Thanks

Welcome back, Anna! You are right about there being a restriction on the size of carry-on bags for Disney Cruise Line. The carry-on bags must be no larger in inches than 22x14x9.

Just think of the size of a carry-on bag for the airlines. This is the same size limit for Disney's ships. The reason there is this size limit is that, similar to at the airports, you'll be going through security with the x-ray machines, and your bag must fit through that machine when you arrive at the port and anytime you re-board the ship in the various ports of call. Backpacks are fine or small rolling luggage.

I hope that helps as you get ready to pack your bags for your adventure on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew! Let me know if I can help with anything else as you continue to plan!
