    I want to know how long to allow for a character breakfast at chef mickeys at 8:40am. I will have my father with me for the first time and I want to make sure we make the star wars parade at 11:00 at hollywood studios. Should I reschedule breakfast

    Hey Christy!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  My family loves Chef Mickey's and have enjoyed countless meals with the "Fab 5." Based on my own personal experience, I would allow at least 60-90 minutes for your breakfast. I also wanted to mention that we have always experienced a small wait before being seated, despite having an Advanced Dining Reservation. 

    Having attended Star Wars Weekends several times in the past, I would strongly suggest arriving to Disney's Hollywood Studios at least 45 minutes prior to the “Legends of the Force” Motorcade and Celebrity Welcome, in order to secure a spot for the parade. We have found that many Guests start sitting along the parade route one hour prior to the parade start for optimal viewing. Although parade times may vary year to year, the "Legends of the Force" Motorcade and Celebrity Welcome was featured at 11:30 a.m. in 2014, according to the 2014 Star Wars Weekends Guide. That being said, I would recommend trying to modify your existing Advanced Dining Reservation for an earlier time or possibly a different day, so that you can thoroughly enjoy your Character Dining breakfast without feeling rushed.
