I know instruments are not allowed on Disney cruise ships, but would they allow a brass mouthpiece? Buzzing into one is no louder than humming, and would only be done in the stateroom in order to keep up with school practice requirements while on vacation.

    Ahoy, Elizabeth!

Can you believe your countdown is almost over, and Saturday you'll be casting off for a pixie-dusted voyage with your favorite Disney pals? It won't be long now. I believe you are looking forward to an adventurous week on the beautiful Disney Treasure. Be ready to be wowed by this stunning Grand Hall and all the rich colors on the walls, carpets, light fixtures, and tile mosaics. When my family sailed on her in May, we loved every detail of this area. It will be so wonderful to have seven days to explore all the ship's unique spaces.

Thank you for sending in this question, Elizabeth. I reached out to my friends at Disney Cruise Line about your question, and they said that because the brass mouthpiece is a part of an instrument, it may be confiscated. When something is confiscated at the port, it will be waiting for you to pick up after your vacation in the cruise terminal. There will be a table of confiscated items after you pass through U.S. Customs. It will be labeled with your name and stateroom number.

Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. Good luck with your packing this week and safe travels!
