I know there is now free wifi in the Disney resort hotels, but is there free wifi in the parks?

    Hi Laura,

You are correct that there is now free WiFi access in the public areas all guest rooms at the WDW resort hotels (Yaaaaay!)

But unfortunately, WiFi has not made its way into the parks. Personally, I have on rare occasion been able to get very brief moments of in-park WiFi from something like another guest's hotspot or a cast portal that was accidentally left open, but you should not count on anything like this being available.

If you need to access something via WiFi while you're touring the parks, you best bet is to head over to one of the nearby resorts. For example, if you're at the Magic Kingdom and need WiFi, you could take the brief walk over to the Contemporary resort and use the free WiFi in the lobby.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
