I know that flags and selfie sticks are not allowed, but are the illuminated poles called stroller spotters permitted?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jodi!

As you've probably heard, last month, the Disney Parks updated their list of Resort Property Rules. Twitter has been all abuzz with the new tighter policies and safety measures concerning stroller dimensions and smoking areas. I checked the current list of Prohibited Items, and as expected, flags, banners, and selfie sticks are still listed. I'm always hesitant to give a thumbs up to any item that could potentially fall into the "grey area" when it comes to security screening. That being said, I absolutely love the idea of the Stroller Spotter (where was this when my kiddos were toddlers)!  After perusing the website, my gut feeling is this item was developed with Disney faring parents in mind, and these entrepreneurs have vetted their idea to make sure it fits Disney Parks standards.  If on the off chance you're not allowed to bring your Stroller Spotter into the Parks, you can ask if it can be held at Guest Relations or the Park Package Pick-up Area.

I've attached a video of my Moms Panel friend, Crystal, who uses a Mickey Balloon to help her navigate through the sea of stroller parking when exiting an attraction- she's quite the expert on strollers! There are also some fun, personalized stroller tags available on sites like Etsy.

Jodi, please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with for your upcoming trip!
