I would like to know how far the beach club villias are from the main check in area? Is there quite a bit of a walk? And do the beach club villias have a lobby of their own? Thank you.

Hello, Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Beach Club Villas draw their inspiration from the charming New England beach cottages of the early 20th century. Some of the rooms offer partial views of the 25-acre Crescent Lake; if you imagine hard enough, you might catch a whiff of salty seaside air (speaking of scents, the main lobby has the most amazing smell)!

I've stayed in a Deluxe Studio here, and I don't recall the walk from the Resort's main lobby being more than a five-minute walk. Guests simply cross a courtyard and are greeted by a statue of Ariel near the main entrance to the turquoise green Villas. When you enter, you'll pass a small lobby, which is one of the most underrated quiet spots in all of Walt Disney World; but keep in mind that it doesn't have a check-in desk. There are two rooms adjacent to this lobby. The Drawing Room has a pool table, TV, and plenty of space to hang out. The Breezeway is a beautifully decorated sitting room. If you have checked-in online through the My Disney Experience app and already have your MagicBand, the Resort will send you a text with your room number when it is ready. This way, you can go straight to your room and use your MagicBand to enter, skipping the main lobby check-in process altogether.

Besides its charm, one of the reasons Disney's Beach Club Villas is so popular with guests is the accessibility to Epcot through the International Gateway. The International Gateway also has a Skyliner station, making it even easier to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Another great perk is the Resort's main pool, Stormalong Bay, which sits along Crescent Lake and is arguably the best pool in all of Walt Disney World. Even though you're traveling in January, make sure to pack your suits because the pools are heated to 82 degrees F throughout the year. And no visit to Disney's Baech Club Resort is complete without a Kitchen Sink sundae from Beaches & Cream Soda Shop!

I hope you have a magical vacation, Lisa! If there's anything else we can do, we're all EARS!
