I know many of you fabulous moms (and dads) have said some parks may close due to capacity on July 4. Is it likely the same will happen on July 3? We plan to go to HS in AM and MK in PM, is this not a good plan? If u have ADR are you more likely to get in?

    Hi Kristi,

Thank you for your kind words! We really do love helping guests!

July 4th is one of the potential days that the parks could close for capacity reasons. Disney is always looking to make sure guests are safe and this is why the parks close because they are at capacity. Some parks you will feel the crowds like at Magic Kingdom. However, Epcot rarely feels crowded to me as it is big and open.

Unlike New Years Eve, July 3 should not be an issue in theory however there is no way to judge this. If you need to be somewhere, then you should plan on getting there early. Advance Dining Reservations(ADRs) do not guarantee that you will be admitted into the park especially if capacity is reached.

If you are staying on site, I would talk to the cast members at your resort. They can give you their thoughts on capacity as they can tell by the guests staying at the resort. I would think Magic Kingdom is one of the parks to fill up so if you arrive there early afternoon, you should be okay.

    Have a magical vacation!
