Hi there! I know every city and district is different- do you know what materials (paper, aluminum cans, plastic bottles?) can be put into the recycling bins in your Disney resort room? Thanks!

    Dear Meredyth,

Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your fantastic question!

The Disney Parks are incredibly proud of their environmental stewardship, and work to recycle as much as possible. You will see recycling bins around the parks and in the rooms, and I recommend that you place all potentially recyclable items in those bins, since the trash and recycling is sorted "backstage," or behind the scenes. The Walt Disney World Resort has an incredibly complex system of trash tubes that sort trash and recycling to minimize waste.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
