I know Epcot has an “back entrance” called International Gateway. When does it open and can I use it to get into Future World when FW opens?

    Hi Denise,

You are correct! There are two main entrances to Epcot - one at the front of the park and the International Gateway entrance at the back. You'll find Guest Relations, stroller and wheelchair rentals, and locker rentals located near both entrances, however, there is no Guest parking located at the International Gateway entrance. If you're parking your own vehicle or arriving via monorail or bus transportation, you'll use the main entrance at the front of the park. If you're arriving via boat or enjoying a beautiful stroll from an Epcot area Disney Resort hotel, you'll use the International Gateway entrance. Both entrances open at the same time, and yes, you'll be able to access Future World from there. Do keep in mind that you'll be a little farther from Future World if you enter from the back, but you'll have certainly access to it just like you would from the front entrance! In fact, most of the World Showcase does not open until later in the morning, with the exception of Frozen Ever After, so most Guests will be heading up to Future World. Although, if you'd like to start your day with a delicious French pastry, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie also opens when the park opens. Mmm...

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope you enjoy your Epcot visit and have a truly magical vacation!
