I know ECVs are allowed on the skyliner but I wanted to make sure if I rent one from the Pop Century Resort it’s self can I take it off grounds to one of the theme parks via Skyliner as long as I of course bring it back to the Pop Century

    Christine,

By the way you asked the question, I wonder if you are thinking that Disney will rent you an ECV (Electric Convenience Vehicle) for your entire trip, starting from when you arrive at Disney’s Pop Century Resort? While Disney will rent ECVs for use in their parks for the day, they do not rent out ECVs for the duration of a vacation. The ones that you would rent at a park must remain at that park. So, if you rent an ECV in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can get it in the morning at the park after you arrive, and you return it at the park gates before you leave.

If you would prefer to have one for your whole trip, including those Disney Skyliner rides, Disney does have a featured provider for ECV rentals, ScooterBug. Renting from them is nice because you do not have to be present when they deliver the ECV to your resort. The Disney Cast Members at the resort can accept and hold the ECV for you, as well as handle the returns at the end of the trip. I think this is what you would prefer to do, based on our recent exchanges. And of course, the folks at ScooterBug would certainly know that you are not just going to use the ECV to dart around your hotel grounds, but that you plan to use it to visit the magic of all the parks!

    BONUS TIP #1
If you want to rent one for the duration of your trip, I recommend that you book with ScooterBug, or another provider, ahead of time. That way you ensure that you will have one for your trip. You can visit their website or call (800) 726-8284.

    BONUS TIP #2
If you opt to rent an ECV at a Disney Theme Park, and then park hop that day to another park, you do not have to pay again to get another ECV at that second park. Just present your rental receipt from earlier in the day at the second park, and they will get you a new ride!

I hope that this answer helps clear things up! Please feel free to write me back again if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
