    I know if you eat at California Grill any time-you can bring your receipt and come back to view fireworks-Also true if you can't get resv. and eat in the lounge? Is the menu in the lounge the same as dining room?

    One of our favorite dining experiences at Walt Disney World happens to be California Grill.  Located on the top floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, guests are treated to fine dining, with cuisines inspired by seasonal fresh food and fantastic views of Magic Kingdom theme park. 
     
    You are correct that guests are able to enjoy Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the rooftop if you have dined at California Grill that day.  All you need to do is show your receipt and you will be able to access the walkway.  Previously, guests who want to enjoy the views of California Grill, but did not have a reservation, were able to take a table in the lounge area and enjoy.  The menu was the same as the restaurants, so you would be free to order what you like. 
     
    Please bear in mind that California Grill is in the process of a major renovation, which began in the winter of 2012.  Scheduled to open this fall, CG will be completely redesigned and it is unknown if the lounge will still offer the same menu when it reopens.
