Welcome Aboard, Barbara!
Thanks for cruising by the Moms Panel with your question!
It sounds like the Easter Bunny will be hopping by with an extra special Easter goodie for your family next spring - a Disney Cruise Line vacation! While specific details haven't yet been released about your sailing, on past Easter sailings there have been special activities and religious services onboard to celebrate the holiday.
On recent cruises, there were two religious services on Easter Sunday - an interdenominational service, and also a Catholic Mass. Special holiday merchandise was available for sale in the onboard shops. Kids can expect to have a chance to make some Easter-themed crafts and possibly get Easter face paint during the day!
When you check in at the cruise terminal, you'll receive a Personal Navigator - a detailed schedule with times and locations for all of the fun activities happening on the ship. Be sure to check the schedule for any holiday offerings during embarkation day. You might get a chance for some fun photo ops with your favorite Disney Characters dressed in their Easter best, or possibly even White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland!
To be among the first to know about any holiday enhancements for your sailing, I encourage you to keep an eye on Disney Cruise Line's social media channels for announcements. The
DCL page on the Disney Parks Blog is an excellent source of information, as well as Disney Cruise Line's
Facebook page and
Twitter.
I hope this helps with your planning. Now it's time to start counting the days until you can "hop" aboard for your "egg-citing" Disney Cruise Line vacation!
Have a magical, pixie-dusted day! - Diane W.
