    I know it's early, but any idea to when the Christmas Day parade taping will take place this year (2015)? I assume MK would be very busy during the tapings, but what about other parks during the taping?

    It's never to early to start planning a Walt Disney World vacation! From resort reservations to park touring schedules to Advanced Dining Reservations, it pays to have all your ducks in a row before you arrive.

    The Christmas Day parade taping typically happens around the first weekend of December. Last year (2014), it was taped over several days surrounding December 8th. To get an idea of when this year's parade tapings might happen keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, the Twitter accounts for Disney Parks, Walt Disney World and Disneyland and other Disney-related websites such as WDWInfo.com, AllEars.net and EasyWDW.com.

    As you are doing your planning, don't forget that tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party typically go on sales the first week of May. This party is a great way to experience the Magic Kingdom during the holidays.

    As far as the other parks, we happen to be there last year during the time of the parade taping and didn't notice any increase in attendance.
