Greetings, John.
Welcome to planDisney! You're a man after my own ocean-loving heart. When I was a little girl, I dreamt of becoming a marine biologist when I grew up. An unfortunate encounter in the ocean with a certain tentacle-wielding creature led to the discovery that I was actually highly-allergic to their stings and could not possibly hope to pursue that dream. Let's just say the jellyfish sequence in
The Seas with Nemo & Friends is not my favorite!
I'm glad to hEAR you are interested in diving down deep to swim with the amazing array of marine life in The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion. The
EPCOT Seas Adventures - DiveQuest is an experience unlike any other offered at Walt Disney World Resort. Where else can you explore the depths of a 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium and swim with over 6,000 sea creatures? It's truly a one-in-a-lifetime experience that is sure to be a favorite core memory.
John, I wish I had a specific date to offer you as to when this tantalizing experience is coming back up for air, but there have been no announcements made at this time. While I know that's not the answer you were hoping to hear, let me reel you back in and give you hope! It feels like there have been almost daily announcements recently of experiences that have been lost at sea for the past two years returning to
Walt Disney World Resort. I am crossing my fins The EPCOT Seas Adventures - DiveQuest's return date will be rolling in with the tide soon. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as they might be one of the first to spot this news on the horizon, but you can also contact the WHALE-y friendly Cast Members over at Guest Service at 407-939-8687 for updates.
Perhaps in this buoyant stage of waiting, you can try some creative ways of experiencing The Seas with Nemo & Friends in new ways. Did you know there is a complimentary scavenger hunt you can go on in this pavilion? It's true! You can solve clues and learn fun facts about our ocean friends in
Finding Dory's Friends: A Fin-Tastic Scavenger Hunt. While it's not scuba-diving, I'm sure the new knowledge you gain will EEL-y get you even more excited for your future scuba-diving EPCOT Seas Adventure.
Life is the bubbles, John, and you'll be "under the sea" again before you know it!
Just keep swimming,
Alyssa
