I know that in Disneyland there is a restaurant in the pirates ride. Is there anything like that at Disneyworld?

    Hi Kari,

There is no restaurant in the Pirates ride at Walt Disney World like there is at Disneyland. There are, however, a few other restaurants that have views of attractions.

The Pinocchio Village Haus quick service restaurant has a few seats near a window that overlooks the loading area for the It's a Small World attraction. With a seat by this window, you can watch and wave to the happy guests as they embark on their voyage.

At Epcot's Mexico pavilion, the San Angel Inn (NOT the Hacienda de San Angel restaurant), overlooks a bit of the Gran Fiesta boat ride, as well as a beautiful mock volcano. The Garden Grill at Epcot features a character dining experience in a revolving restaurant that passes by part of the Living With the Land ride. Also at Epcot, the Coral Reef restaurant is surrounded on one full side by the giant Living Seas aquarium. This is great entertainment while you're dining.

Walt Disney World also features several restaurants where you can watch fireworks presentations during your meal. The best of these is the California Grill at the Contemporary. At Epcot, you can watch the Illuminations fireworks from the Rose and Crown at the England pavilion or from Mexico's Hacienda de San Angel.

More fun can be had at Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you can watch African animals graze while you dine.

Many other restaurants have entertainment as part of the meal, including a dozen character experiences, the Sci-Fi Dine-In, the 50s Prime Time Cafe, the Whispering Canyon Cafe, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and Spirit of Aloha dinner shows, and more.

Let us know if you need more details about any of these.
