Do you know if Disney World will ever get a Cars land area just like they have at Disney Land?

    Hi Keondrick,

I had had an opportunity to visit Cars Land at Disneyland last year. It is indeed a spectacular place. The detail was just incredible.

There are always rumors about Cars Land at Disney World, but nothing official has been announced. While I won't say that this will never happen, I really can't see it coming to pass any time soon. (This is my educated guess. I have no inside scoop.) Disney has made official announcements about an Avatar themed land coming to the Animal Kingdom. And there have been some semi-official words about new Star Wars theming at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both those projects are quite time and money intensive and should occupy most of Disney's attention for the next several years.

If you can't get to California for a full immersion Cars fix, there are a few smaller scale Cars experiences at Walt Disney World. Mater and Lightening have a small meet & greet opportunity at Disney's Hollywood Studios. There is also a wonderful Cars-themed area at the new Art of Animation resort. The rooms there are fully decorated in Cars motifs, and the outside areas look much like Cars Land. It's the perfect place to stay of you're a Cars fan at WDW.

Please let is know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
