Howdy Dawn!
Welcome to
planDisney, the rootinest tootinest Disney Vacation enthusiasts you ever will meet! I’m glad you decided to stop by with your vacation question, and it would be my pleasure to help round up an answer for you. With the announcement of the phased reopening of
Disneyland Resort, we were all ready to blast off to infinity and beyond! Since the parks are only open to California residents at this time, out-of-state toys will have to wait around a little bit longer before being pulled from the toybox.
It was such a relief to see the
2020 Military Salute Tickets extended through December 2021. As a military spouse, I am always thankful for the extraordinary ways Disney salutes or U.S. Military Members and their families. Once
theme park reservations become available for out-of-state residents (unless you are currently a resident of California), you will be able to make theme park reservations for either consecutive or non-consecutive days. The reason it states “tickets may be used on non-consecutive days” specifically for Military Promotional Tickets, is because regular theme park tickets expire 13 days after the first use or upon the expiration date. Military Salute Tickets allow you to use the number of days of your theme park tickets for park entry any time before the expiration date. If you have a 4-day Military Salute Ticket, you could use two days during one visit and the other two at a later date, but you are certainly welcome to use all four days in a row.
I hope this information helps clarify your Military Salute Tickets and that you have a wonderful vacation in
The Happiest Place on Earth! Remember, you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so stop back by any time we can lasso an answer to your vacation questions.
