I know about Disney Event Photography and Family Portraits; I wanted to know if there was a shop at WDW or DTD that offered sit in portraits?

    Hi Dean,

There is no formal portrait studio at Walt Disney World for general photography. There are studios associated with the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques at the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney, but these are really for the use of families with young girls who have just had a princess makeover. A photographer will take a range of shots of the girl, occasionally with a family member or two, but it really is meant to be part of the BBB experience and can only be arranged in conjunction with the BBB.

Your best alternative is the Disney Event Photography that you mention. I've done a full hour-long portrait session with my family. It was an incredible experience which resulted in dozens of fantastic images of my family, but it was a little pricey. If you need something more affordable, you may want to consider the Mini Portrait session. These 20 minute shoots are a great way to dip your toe into professional photography at Disney World.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
