Minnie and Mickey Celebrate Disney 100; Epcot

    I know Disney doesn't offer AARP discounts. My husband is a veteran from the 70s and I know they offer discounts. How do I go about letting them know he is a veteran?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Jamie! I am so happy to hear you want to begin planning another visit to Walt Disney World Resort. You've come to the right place with your questions!

    From all of us at planDisney, thank you for your husband's service! As a military spouse, I am so thankful for all the perks Walt Disney World has given to our community. There are two ticket choices available, depending on his status. Let's "dig a little deeper" and look at both:

    • Magic Your Way Tickets: These tickets are available to Veterans who served and were discharged honorably from service. These tickets are discounted theme park tickets and can also be purchased through Shades of Green or your local military base.

    For both ticket types, it's important to note that you have to make Theme Park Reservations, which can be done by downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Once you link your tickets on the app, you can make theme park reservations. If you purchase the Salute tickets, keep the stubs you receive. You will have to activate your tickets once you arrive at Walt Disney World. This process can be done by visiting Guest Relations at one of the four theme parks. For the Magic Your Way tickets, you are good to go. You can head to the entrance turnstiles and begin your day at the parks.
