    Do you know if all the Disney Characters are in their homes in Toonland as soon as the park opens? We were wanting to get some photos early on and were hoping to be able to knock it off our list without having to search all over the park. Thank you!

    Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a "practically perfect" day.

    I’m thrilled to infinity & beyond that you are planning a magical vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth - this is where dreams come true! Heading for Mickey’s Toontown at the start of your day sounds like a great plan. I recommend starting at the back of the park and working your way forward since most of the Guests start their day in the opposite. However, I cannot guarantee that all the Disney Characters will be in their homes as you get there. But no need to worry because Mickey and his friends are constantly returning to their homes to greet more Guests. 

    Another fun option to get quite a few Disney Character photos in one place would be to book a Disney Character Dining experience like Goofy’s Kitchen. Having Disney Characters come right up to your table for pictures and autographs makes for such a magical meal. We like to book an early breakfast before the park opens. Another spot we love is located in Disneyland Park at the Plaza Inn. Try to get the earliest time too!
