Hi Kristi,
I am by no means a morning person, but ask my husband and he'll tell you that I all the sudden
become a morning person if it means that Disney is involved. Getting up early to make my
dining reservations, hit the road for our next Disney adventure, secure a boarding group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, or be among the first Guests in the park for the day? Sign me up! I just want to soak up as much magic and fun as possible!
With that said, you'll find that
many restaurants open reservation availability beginning as early as 5:45 am Eastern time 60 days in advance. Some dining experiences are not available until 7:00 a.m. Eastern time, but without an official list of which ones open early, I always try for everything at that earlier time frame. I'm sending pixie dust that you find the
perfect dining reservations for your trip and are able to enjoy tons of delicious Disney food, but if you don't happen to find the perfect selections, please don't give up! Guests' plans change all the time, so keep checking! It's always possible that you'll be able to find something later, especially the day or two beforehand as Guests may be canceling a reservation at the last minute to avoid a
cancellation fee. Of course, there are also some wonderful
dining tools available on the My Disney Experience mobile app now for any last-minute options. As you're thinking through your dining options, I'd also like to point out that the
Dining: Know Before You Go page is packed with all sorts of helpful information regarding dining during the phased reopening.
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Kristi, and please feel free to come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're thinking through the details of your trip. I hope you have a truly magical...and
delicious...vacation!
Missy
