Welcome back, Linet! These two tours during your port visit to Naples, Italy are both wonderful and very similar, however there are a few differences which I can tell you about.
Both the tours offer a 50-minute boat ride on a jet-boat to the Isle of Capri (this is a fast and bumpy, but very fun ride!), a boat ride from Capri to Sorrento, 90 or so minutes to shop, explore and enjoy Sorrento, a one-hour scenic costal drive to Pompeii and a guided tour of Pompeii before taking a 30-minute drive back to the port.
The differences are slight, but might help you decide which is best for your family. On the
Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri Family adventure, guests will get to enjoy a gelato in Capri and a 75-minute boat ride touring the Faraglioni Rocks and the Marina Piccola. What a beautiful tour this is! In Pompeii, the guided tour includes about 90 minutes of walking and standing versus the two hour of walking and standing during this tour on the other Pompeii, Sorrento and Carpi adventure (thus making it a bit easier for families).
The
Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri adventure features a ride in the funicular to a beautiful spot in Capri Town. There guests get to enjoy the Pieazzetta full of shopping and other cultural fun. You'll visit the Augustus Gardens which overlook the Faraglioni rocks and Marina Piccola, instead of seeing them up close by boat. These guests don't miss out on the delicious gelato though (a must in my opinion!), but will enjoy their gelato in Pompeii instead of in Capri.
I hope those details help you sort out which might be your favorite, Linet! Happy planning!
