I know diapers are not allowed in the ship swimming pools, are swim diapers OK at Castaway Cay? What is the age-target for Pelican Plunge? Finally is there somewhere I can find the list of additional 'enhancements' and prices we can add to a Cabana Rental?

    Hi Amy!

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Castaway Cay is my favorite port of call, and I'm excited you will get to experience all it has to offer on your upcoming visit.

Pelican Plunge is a floating platform with two water slides-one enclosed corkscrew and the other a 140 ft long open slide.  Guests must be at least 38" to ride and Guests up to 48" must wear a lifejacket.  To get on the platform, you must swim out in a lagoon and after sliding, you must swim back.

The cabanas on the island are absolutely fabulous!  You will love having a refrigerator stocked with  beverages, a programmable safe, a freshwater shower outside, comfortable, cushioned chairs,a dining table, sunscreen, magazines, towels, and snacks!  In the beach area in front of your cabana, you will be able to use the floats, rafts, snorkel equipment and bikes without an additional charge.  If your cabana is located on the family beach, you will also have sand toys to use.  Alcoholic beverages are an additional fee.

And to answer your last question, swim diapers are absolutely fine on the island!

I hope my answer helps with your planning! If you think of any other cruise questions, please let me know!

Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel!

Have a magical time on your cruise vacation!
