Hi Alveretta!
I'm so glad you have asked your question to us here at planDisney! Planning a new Walt Disney World Resort vacation is so exciting! There are so many resort and dining experiences to choose from, that narrowing it down always seems like it is so impossible!
Booking a Walt Disney World Resort package involves selecting a resort and tickets for your upcoming stay. The deposit on a package is $200 per reservation, not per person. The balance on the reservation is due 30 days prior to arrival. Any changes that need to be made on the reservation can be made up to 30 days prior to a fee. After 30 days, a fee of $200 will apply.
Alveretta, if you have not selected a resort for your stay, let me make a few suggestions. If you are looking for a value resort with fun themes and a fantastic food court,
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is perfect for you. You can select from standard rooms or suites if you are traveling with extended family. The Big Blue Pool offers fun and relaxation, and the Landscape of Flavors food court offers you lots of different meal options to choose from. Another one of my favorite selections for a moderate resort is
Disney's Port Orleans Resort--French Quarter. I absolutely love the New Orleans inspired theme, complete with hot beignets, which make a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner snack! Celebrate the season of Mardi Gras with jazz music and a fantastic pool with slide. If you are looking for a deluxe experience, you can look no further than
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Situated on Seven Seas Lagoon, the Grand Floridian boasts gorgeous Victorian-era themes and fantastic views of Cinderella Castle. Dining at the Grand Floridian gives guests many options such as Citricos, Narcoossee's, and the 1900 Park Fare. One of my favorite dining experiences is at the Grand Floridian Cafe, where the buttermilk fried chicken cannot be beaten!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
