I know the Christmas season is very busy at the parks, but what is the best day to visit? We will have grandparents and 3 year olds. So we will only be hitting up the little rides and rides for older people as well.

    Hi Joy!

Visiting during the holiday season guarantees you a most wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Being able to experience the parks and the seasonal decor will make you want to visit again and again!

The holiday season happens to be the most crowded time of the year for Disney. You will see longer lines and larger crowds, so plan accordingly when looking at your favorite attractions and experiences. My recommendation would be the week right before Christmas. The attractions waits are still manageable at that time, and crowd levels are only beginning to increase. Many of the schools in the US are still in session, and that definitely plays key into crowd levels. Another option would be the first week of December. It is relatively low level crowds, which is perfect for the family wanting to get a feel of Disney for December, but without the masses in the parks.

The best part of these two is that you still get to enjoy the holiday decor, the holiday parties and seasonal ambiance without having to deal with crowd/line issues.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
