Do you know of any children's Disney world books with pics? I would love to read to my toddler at bedtime as we get closer to our trip.

    Hi Lacy,

    I love this question!

One of my own children's favorite books when they were preschoolers was "Meet Me in the Magic Kingdom" by Kathy Jakobsen. This is out of print, but used copies are available on Amazon for pennies. Jakobsen is nationally recognized folk artist. The story is about a family trip to Walt Disney World and the painted illustrations truly capture the spirit of the parks.

Another book my girls liked was "Mary Kate and Ashley's Walt Disney World Adventure." I can't say that this is fine literature, but there are nice, if slightly outdated, photos of the parks. Again, this is available for pennies on Amazon.

There are also picture book versions of nearly every Disney movie. Sometimes getting a child familiar with the characters this way can be a big help in their understanding of the attractions in the parks.

Please let me know if you need more ideas. I'm happy to help.
