I know that check-in time is at 3pm but our flight arrives at MCO at approximately 0045hrs, october 16/2009...my questions are, which date should I put while booking my reservation and if 16th is the answer... will they allow us an early early check-in

Hi, Rosana!  If you would like a bed to sleep in when you arrive at 12:45 on the morning of the 16th, I suggest requesting a check in date of the 15th, but note on your reservation that you will be checking in late.  In most cases, the room will not be ready until three in the afternoon, and coming in at that late hour, you will probably want the comfort of a nice bed to rest in and a hot shower in the morning.

If you put down a check in date of the 16th, if there is a room ready earlier than the three o'clock check in time, the earliest time they would allow you to check is is still going to be much later in the morning than when you arrive.  Your only option at that point is going to be to sit in the lobby and wait the several hours until you can check in to your room - assuming again that it is available early.  You are still, in my opinion, going to be much better off putting an arrival date of the 15th.

    Have a wonderful vacation.
