I know you can’t have loose ice in your cooler, but can you put ice cubes in a Ziploc bag and put them in your cooler?

Hi there from a fellow Georgian, Christy!

You are correct that you may no longer bring loose ice into the parks; this is simply to help the security team be more hygienic and thorough in their bag checks.

Christy, you are allowed to bring ice packed in zip lock bags. I would recommend sandwich-sized or gallon-sized bags over anything larger, and to not overfill the bags. This will help expedite the security check. If you want to forgo the ice altogether, one of my favorite tricks is to partially freeze our waters the night before and throw them in the cooler, not only does this cool our snacks but we have ice cold water to drink throughout the day!

I hope that this helped, Christy and please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help with any other questions!

    Have a magical day!
