Heigh-Ho Christine
Thank you for bringing your questions to planDisney. Planning is a MUST in order to have a successful Walt Disney World vacation and I am happy to hEAR you are on the right track.
You are correct, all Guests are able to make Advance Dining Reservation 60-days prior to the date they are wishing to reserve. Guests, staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, are able to make Advance Dining Reservations 60-day in advance and up to do 10-days past their arrival date. Unfortunately, this does not include the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels. But do not let that deter you, be flexible with your times and vigilant in checking for availability. Also, some of the Disney Springs restaurants can be found on OpenTable and the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort is home to some scrumptious options. In fact, my favorite is
Il Mulino New York Trattoria, if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion this is your place. Located in the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel follow the aromatic smell of Italian cuisines to this trendy eatery. And for delicious cocktails and creative cuisines,
Todd English’s Bluezoo is the place.
Also, keep in mind the wonderful array of quick-service restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort. With the My Disney Experience
Mobile Order Food option, Guests are highly encouraged to peruse the many choices and order ahead for a more efficient and enjoyable dining experience. Simply place your order, in advance, make your way to the restaurant once it is ready, let a Cast Member know at the entrance to the restaurant and they will kindly point you in the direction where your food awaits. And one final need to know, the
mobile dine walk-up list can be found at select table-service restaurants. You can check availability through your mobile app or by scanning a QR code located near the restaurant. If there is availability a list of times will appear and you can reserve your choice.
I hope this helps with your dining planning and am happy to help with any other curiouser and curiouser inquiries you may have. Stay current with updates by following the
