    I know we have to bring a negative Covid test saying I’m negative to enter the resort but I was wondering if an (at home Covid test) negative result is acceptable or not, or do I have to a negative result test from an actual hospital/Covid center?

    Hello Viviana!  Welcome to planDisney.

    Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just days away!  I'm sure you are busy this week preparing for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.  Good news -- you can cross another item off your to-do list.  COVID-19 testing is not required to visit Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.  Guests entering the resort are self-confirming the stipulations of the Health Acknowledgement:

    • Guests are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19
    • Guests are not under self-quarantine orders
    • Guests are not required to quarantine due to close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19

    At this time, face masks are optional at Walt Disney World Resort.  Masks are recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated in indoor locations and on enclosed transportation.  I have included this information about Returning to a World of Magic with updates about current health and safety protocols.

    If instead, you are planning to visit Disneyland Resort in California, know that while the State of California strongly recommends that Guests obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering, proof of testing is not required.  Face masks are strongly recommended for all Guests ages 2 and up, and are required in certain indoor areas, such as First Aid.  You can read more about the health and safety protocols at Disneyland Resort here.
