I know you can book dining reservations 180 in advance, but thought I read somewhere that if you are staying on property you can book 190 days in advance. Is that true and if so is there anything special I need to do or say when making reservations? Thanks

This is a little confusing. If you are a Disney resort guest, you cannot call 190 days before your arrival to make your dining reservations.

What you can do is call 180 days in advance, but make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation. So if you call in exactly 180 days before you arrive, you can indeed make a dining reservation for 10 days later, ie-190 days in advance. But you can't actually call 190 days in advance. Does that make sense?

You are super smart to be planning this far in advance, and I wish you the best of luck in getting all the reservations you want. One additional tip - when you do call in, don't necessarily make your reservations in date order. Book the 'hard to get' meals first (like Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus, Le Cellier, 'Ohana, etc) and then book your other restaurants. For some meals, even the minutes and seconds make a difference!
