I would like to know the BEST time to come to WDW. We plan on Nov/Dec 2008. We have a 4year old and 9 month old twins which will be1 1/2 by then. No car rental this time but a good resort with easy access to parks. Any suggestions?

The least crowded time at WDW is the fall. November or December (assuming that you miss the super-busy weeks surrounding the holidays) is a great time to visit. The weather should be fine and the crowds minimal. As a bonus, if you come in December, you will be able to see the Christmas decorations throughout the resorts and parks.

My children have the same age spread as yours. My twins made their first trip to WDW when they were 9 months old and their sister was 4 years old. Since you will still be heavily dependant on your stroller during your trip, I suggest staying at a resort that makes stroller use easy. This means either the monorail line or the Epcot resort area.

The monorail hotels are the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian. These allow access to the Magic Kingdom using the monorail. The best part of this is that your stroller does not need to be folded on this form of transportation. You can wheel your sleeping toddlers on and off the monorail and back to your room. You can also use the monorail to get to several character meals, and you can transfer from the Magic Kingdom monorail to the Epcot monorail line to get easy access to another park.

If you will be spending more time at Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios than the Magic Kingdom (unlikely with the ages of your children, but I'll mention it "just in case") then you will be better off at one of the Epcot hotels. These are the Swan and Dolphin, Yacht and Beach Club, and the Boardwalk. From these hotels, you can walk to Epcot and DHS. If you wanted to save shoe leather, you could also take a lovely shuttle boat to these parks. You would not need to fold your stroller doing either of these things. Also, the Yacht and Beach Club has by far the best pool at WDW. If your kids like the water, this could be a huge plus for them. The Yacht Club pool has a sandy bottom area for toddlers, so it's like you're at the beach, but it's safer. I'm sure whatever you choose, you'll have a great trip.
