I would like to know the best and affordable way to have a family of 8 enjoy the vacation of a lifetime, for at least two to three days this June on my sons 5th birthday.

    Hi Kimberly,

Can I just tell you how honored I am to help you plan your son's magical 5th birthday? Thank you!

With a party as large as yours, your absolute best option is a Disney Vacation Club Resort 2-Bedroom Villa. These accommodate parties of eight or nine people in comfortable and spacious luxury.  Additionally, you will find all the comforts of home with a well-appointed, full-sized kitchen for preparing meals at "home" to stretch those precious vacation dollars, and a washer and dryer to tame the laundry monster! Having easy access to laundry means that you can pack lighter and save on some of those expensive baggage fees charged by the airlines.

I suggest Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. There is nothing like the sight of a giraffe just off your expansive balcony. Our daughters, around the same age as your son, love to use the animal guide located in the room to spot and identify as many hooved and feathered friends as possible!

It is easy to cool off from the June sunshine in stunning Samawati Springs Pool and Uwanja Camp, a gigantic pool and water play area.

Disney Vacation Club Members can reserve their Villa 11-months in advance for their Home Resort, and 7-months before arrival at any other DVC Resort.  Not a Disney Vacation Club Member just yet?  Don't worry!  You can actually reserve your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel accommodations a full 499-days before arrival by calling a Disney Vacation Advisor.

I hope that helps you get a great start.  Please let us know how we can help!
