Hi. What I would like to know is , on average how long does a character meal breakfast at CRT and TCP take? As we have ADRs at both on two different days and both are 8:15am. Will we be out for park opening and ahead of the masses?Park opening is 9am

    Hi Jamie,

My family is often in the same position as you at character meals. We love dining before the parks open so we can get breakfast out of the way and ready to go at opening time.

The typical character meal takes about an hour. The character handlers try to time the rotation so that each character visits each table within an hour.

That being said, there are a few things you can do to speed things along. The first thing to do is be sure to be early for your meal. While there are no guarantees, if you show up early, there's a decent shot that you'll be seated early.

My husband has taken to asking for our check near the beginning of the meal. Since this is a fixed cost situation, there's no ordering extra things that will need to be tacked onto the bill. We're able to settle up with our server during the meal so that we're not waiting around at the end to pay.

You can also speak to the hostess or servers and explain your situation and they'll be able to tell you approximately when each character will come to your table. You can time your trips to the buffet so as not to miss them.

    Good luck!
