Aloha, Emmalynn!
Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, sounds like the perfect way to spend some of the holiday season, especially to this Jersey girl, who spends most of the month of December feeling a bit like Olaf. Aulani kicks off the Christmas season right around Thanksgiving, into the early part of the month of December. Decorations usually begin appearing just after the Thanksgiving holiday.
The resort does festive, themed garlands, matching wreaths, beautiful Christmas trees, and in years past, you could find gingerbread houses around the resort lobby. If you have one of the gorgeous
Disney Vacation Club villas, you can bake your own Christmas cookies, but you might also find some holiday treats popping up at the resort.
As it gets closer to the holidays, you'll find some of your holiday favorites showing at
'Ohana Disney Movie Night. Watch under the tropical, starry skies, but show up a bit early and play some fun Hawaiian games.
From mid-December through Christmas eve, they've had carolers on select nights (about twice a week). You'll want to check at the resort front desk to see what the activity schedule looks like so you don't miss anything.
Oh - and don't forget to say Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas!) to some of your favorite Disney characters. You may even see them dressed up for the holidays by the time you visit.
Have a wonderful, magical visit!
